I once had a dream in which you lot featured.
It was to do with meeting each other - I dreamed that Cloudy had organised a big get-together where we could all meet face to face for the first time. I remember feeling nervous! I think that tells me that I spend too much time here... ------------------ Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so. dream of loneliness?
uh nnn, I completely disagree dream is not something to be interpreted by apparent events. you must look into the symbolic. for example, see best friend bleed means good triumph over evil, etc etc got what I mean? I am a novice in this, and so do many of us here. so we should not really try and explain Epona's dream I read a thread once about dream, one of our members is very good at explaining such things. unfortunately, I forgot whom. anyone who is reading, and is good at this, please exlain! |

Well, I've never done this sort of thing before, maybe I just naturally felt like doing this.
But remember, it could've just been a dream!! To me the beginning sounds like you feel there were many paths open to you, and those strangers were old friends who seemed to be drifting further away and taking different paths. I think the strip taking you past while all was muted represents you feeling that everything in life is passing you by at the moment, and you aren't having time in your life to relax. I think the island is you having found somewhere you thought was sanctuary, but it ended up you feeling left out and uncomfortable, not fitting in and when you wanted to get off you found it to seem impossible. However, your resignation at this might not be the p[roblem, the swimming against the tide could mean you have to struggle to get out the proverbial sinking sand so you can review your life and take more time to see if yiou truly chose a path recently that was the right one for you. Hopefully I helped somehow, but don't take my advice too seriously, because if you did something that could affect your life at the moment for the worse in an irreversible way I would feel terrible about it. ------------------ Resident cantankerous sorcerer of the Clan HADB and Sorcerous Nuttella salesman of the O.R.T Long live HADB!!! However, it could be that all that is true except the swimming against the tide, you might just feel rushed and unfamiliar with a new place, that seems terrible because you're isolated and alone, and you feel resignation because you feel theres no hope, when it may just be a case of getting used to the place.
However, as I said before, all of what I say could be total bull, so if you want to, just ignore me. ------------------ Resident cantankerous sorcerer of the Clan HADB and Sorcerous Nuttella salesman of the O.R.T Long live HADB!!! 'What doesn't kill me makes me stronger' |

I think you may be on to something there Talthyr, but as 250 said, some of the things might be more symbolic and less straightforward.
