He is lvl29 mage and a chosen of Mystra who grands him special powers.
He has been a fighter, thief and cleric before he became a mage and he was at the birth of Myth Drannor. But im not really into this stuff so you should probably ask someone like memnoch. |

I hate to admit that I have read none of the Elminster books. I have read most of the Salvatore books on Forgotten Realms (re: Drizzt) but no other FR books. I am very curious about Elminster and would like to read those books concerning him. Is there a site where I could get a listing of those books (in chronological order preferably -- I like to read them as the character develops).

I think there is a mentioning of him coming from Shadowdale where he lives in a tower with his scribe - Theo (is it?) or is it Thaeo?

Elminster huh? Okay, this is what I've compiled
. He's a dual-class 25th level fighter/priest/thief, cyrrently mage (27 or 29) He cannot die unless his tower's kablooied He has a CON 25 (gift from Mystra) His hobby is goatherding . He is a character of Ed Greenwood, a munchkin player who insists that use of the Forgotten Realms licence forbids Elminster ever dying (he'll probably cry otherwise) .
