LOL, I love The Silmarillion, too, and all of that stuff from "Of the Rings of Power and the Third Age" should definitely impress your fangirl friends, but be warned that among more serious Tolkienists, it is considered passe, being replaced by The History of Middle-Earth, volume 11-12. Serious geekiness.

I saw, Atty, and thanks so much!

I know it's not news we're marrying and all, but it was just such a wonderful day for me, I had to chirp a bit and am smiling from ear to ear!

Congratulations.

When I proposed to Michelle, we were on vacation in Key West, Florida. I figured since it was her first time skydiving and her first wedding proposal, I should combine the two together so I proposed to her at 8000ft.

Congrats, Cloudlady! Any idea where you're going to honeymoon? Looks like I'll have to be making the Cafes for awhile

Weather really is weird you know? Our band instructor said we didn't have to wear our uniforms for our parade today since we baked last year in the hot black wool Well, of course today it was raining, and we were in shirts and pants and unable to use anything to keep us warm *shudders* that majorly blowed. It was the last time I'll ever play with that band again, which makes me really sad

So. I'm bored. Finished Wizards First Rule and can't go buy the other one till tomorrow *sigh*

cloudy...if it rains today...I am going to rent the willow stick for a month, lol
we are going to go down to the River market, basicly a sidewalk mall on the river plus we are going to be on a motorcycle, and it hurts when riding in the rain so you better make these clouds go away fast lady

Good morning, all. Jen, if you are so bored, come over to the Oasis and keep us company. I really cannot say that I miss anything about high scholol, band least of all. As Piestrider says, how can you enjoy anything you are ashamed to tell people you belong to? Not that you do, I know. But he did and so did I. We had a really big thunderstorm last night, at least 4" of ran, hail, etc. We were driving back from Terrell, about 11:30 and got caught in it. Galadria cannot drive in the rain, so she finally pulled over and let me drive home. I got soaked, since I had to do the "outside" part of out do-si-do.

Well, band was a huge part of my life, and I'm sorry to be leaving it. Not the marching though, that's the only thing I didn't like

Give me a link to Oasis, and I'll check it out. I'm currently a member to more than enough forums, and I forget I'm in most of them .

Friend has a b-day party today, so i g2g get her present and pick up next book in sword of truth series. See you guys tomorrow
