I've been hit by everything you can name but this virus is down-right annoying. Its a download file that is constantly being used by other pgrams and cant be deleted as long as its being used. On a mac I could just hold down the option key and empty it into the trash, but is there any "Force" command on a PC? Just wondering while also putting out a warning against this annoying bug...

well you could try cutting and pasting it into the recycle bin, it works for annoying files like that for me.

Usually you have to unlock the file in question, if it's in use winblows won't let you delete it.

Try ctl-alt-delete and exit any processes accessing the file. Then delete it.

If this doesn't work, you might have to go in the registry and find out where it's being loaded and remove it from the registry.

Actually, I was going to suggest that but I assumed that you would have already done that and it didn't know about that one yet...

Hmm, that reminds me - time to update PC-Cillin!

Try This. I'm not sure if the link will work, but you should be able to download EndItAll2, a program which lets you close or kill applications that don't show up in the CTRL-ALT-DELETE window.

I have a vague feeling I shouldn't be posting this, so please correct me if I'm doing anything wrong...
