Dual-Class Answers

I'd say he meant he tried to get a ranger/mage. Still curious as to how you can get a ranger/thief, I was pretty certain the only thing a ranger could dual to was a cleric.

Tobbin, let us know what the stats you rolled were. An insanely powerful archer-thief is about to be created.

Well, I kept rolling until I had:
18/63 for Str
18 for Dex
18 for Con
10 for Int
18 for Wis
10 for Cha

Yeah, he's not all that smart or cute, but it didn't matter anyways. Then I raised his CON up with 2 books in BGI and the same with STR. I found out something interesting as well, my nephew can not set up a Ranger/Thief either. I posted about this in another thread, but I was saying that I bought him a Collector's edition game as well. He didn't get the extra bonus CD with it, nor did we install any patches. I tried about everything I could think of to see if I could get it to work, but nothing seemed to go through. He lives in NC and I only had 3 days there, but I will take my extra CD up there next visit and post to you guys what happened. I'm gonna try and install it on my mom's computer too, see what happens. She lives in NC too. Whatever I find out, I will let you know.

And could not dual class this chaotic good archer to thief. I don't think it can be done post-patch. I have the bonus CD installed as well.
