Currently taking my first run through IWDII in about a year (computer troubles)
Current Party: Larathen Tiefling Rouge(2)/Wizard (1) Str 12 Dex 18 (19 due to an item) Con 12 Int 14 Wis 10 Cha 12 Used as: diplomat, trap disarmer and chest unlocker, backup mage Zerg the Untouchable (nearly untouchable is more like it >.>) Drow Monk (3) Str 14 Dex 20 Con 14 Int 9 Wis 18 Cha 5 Used as: Main tank Tylon Assimar Paladin of Mystra (1)/Wizard (2) Str 14 Dex 16 Con 14 Int 15 Wis 5 (I know I'll regret that) Cha 14 Used as: Minor tank, backup mage Tatiana Human Stormlord of Talos (4) Str 16 Dex 12 Con 18 Int (i forgot again ^^; ) Wis 18 Cha 3 Used as: Healer, minor tank Pikel Gold Dwarf Druid (4) Str 14 Dex 16 Con 16 Int 8 Wis 18 Cha 3 Used as: backup healer, secondary tank (has a point in axes), a bit of offensive magic as well Varn Human Wizard (4) Str 12 Dex 18 Con 14 Int 19 Wis 10 Cha 4 Used as: bombardier, sniper Party managed to take Targos by storm, goblins are easy pickings for this group (they can't even touch the monk), the battle in the Palisade was the first time the monk was even hit. Orcs prove to be much tougher opponents, being able to reliably hit my monk, they require a veritable blasting by my mages (all 3 have magic missile) to take down. Currently awaiting my cleric and druid's next level up to gain access to the spell Call Lightning and the Talos Cleric's domain spell Lightning Bolt. Then the fun shall really begin [ 06-17-2005, 03:00 PM: Message edited by: Neo the Warrior Cat ]

Zerg? hehe
Pikel? I just started on book one of that. Good is it? Anyways, party looks good, if somewhat minmaxed, but otherwise ok. I've got this urge to start a Bard+Wizard+4xSorcerer party. That might be fun

I believe it. 3 charisma would look pretty good on some of those guys
Good party all around, though remember that a mage must have an INT of 10+ spell level to cast spells of that level, so your two backup mages will need to gain INT by some means (leveling, items, etc.). Ideally, if you want an absolute untouchable monk, deep gnomes are the best choice, but a drow will work almost as well, along with being much cooler (whenever I take a gnome, I wind up with a name like "Igglesniff") Good luck! |

Aye, I didn't minmax nearly as much as other times.
Yeah, the two backup mages will be gaining INT as time goes on >.> Currently at the Horde Fortress, the druid, wizard, and Stormlord are all level 5, so I have lightning bolt from both cleric and wizard, and 2 call lightnings from the druid Currently the Stormlord has the most hitpoints at 51, and the Rouge/Wizard having the least. I think that now I'll start having a blast with this party

Marty, you actually give your party names??? In case you havent noticed, cool names dont improve any abilities at all. Calling them "1", "2", "3", "4", "5", "6" would suffice.
