Well, I need a lot of sleep, ever since I fell ill some years ago I've needed lots of rest and sleep. Nowadays I'm doing much better though - a few late-nighters don't exhaust me like they used to. In fact I've been having a few sleepless nights lately *cough*
But I'd say I do need 8 hours of sleep, still. I often get less but then I have to catch up with a nap later on.

Lately, 3-4 hours.
All the lovely shows that come on at late night are keeping me awake. It's kind of like an addiction, you know?

Tsk tsk, seems not many people know that the healthy lifestyle is 8 hours sleep, 8 hours work and 8 hours play *looks at own lifestyle* damn I have a lot of work to do!

Actually, it's off of this site. Look under the smilies and graphics.

I've been one of them. At one point, I was working 70-80 hours a week, starting grad school, and interviewing for another job. I would literally nod off every 2-3 minutes going to and from job interviews. I think I was averaging 1-2 hours a night at that point. I ate in the car in between work and school, and just wore myself into the ground. Finally, I got a new job and quit the other one, and literally slept for 24 hours straight that next weekend. And I see it all the time. People nodding off at lights, reading, eating, etc. And then you hear how people are more "productive" in the U.S. At what cost?

Ugh - been up all night partying. Due at my parents' place for lunch in 5 hours, which means I have to leave here in 3.5 hours. Ugh.
Had a good time though!

I'm a university student, sleep is a luxury I can only indulge in on weekends.
but not this weekend, I have 4 midterms on Monday and Tuesday, I'm going to be so jacked up on caffeine....

I read somewhere that as long as you get a minimun of 3 hours a night, allowing you to get some REM sleep in.

3 hours sleep seems like a distant memory right now! I think you're right about that but it will take its toll after a while if you're only getting 3 hours a night.
Caffeine is evil, just say no.
*sips coffee*

Good luck with your midterms!

Me: I need about 8 hours a night to be on top of things. 10 if I've been on the reefer... But I usually get around 6-7 hours.
