Does it allow you to play right through BG, BGII and ToB with the party you start with at the end of BG?

I noticed a link to ToB but not very descriptive. How do I find its location? How do I install it?

Anyone played it? Is It good?

BGT puts the BG1 content in the place of the BG2 tutorial, allowing you to play through the entire seriest in one continuous run, with the same rules throughout. Unfortunately, its a huge download and its getting hard to find. The part of it I've played is excellent, but there are a number of bugs which can be irritating. BGT forums are here:

There is also the similar BGtutu mod which is a much smaller, more intelligent way of doing the same thing.

most bugs are fixed with the new releases though, and highly recommended, I love it!

I see there are several files in here. 1 rar, 1 exe, 2 zip.

How do I go about installing this? Download them to a folder and run the executable. Surely it is not so simple as this. Maybe it is this and then extract the zips after?

Lets say one were to install BGT would they later be able to install some of the larger mods out there for BGII or would there be a compatibility problem in these.

I am assuming for BG that DSotSC would not be able to be installed. Or maybe it would if it were installed first?

No, don't install mods before hand. DSoTSC won't work for it, some mods will, however. UB for BG2 definately will.
Just download the big file on that page, that's the only one you need.

Ok, so only the large 658 MB file is needed then? What about the other files do they serve any purpose?

The other files look like bugfixes, which would make them essential. THere should be a readme with them, otherwise just extract them to the override folder.

As for mods, BG1 mods cannot be used, because you arent playing BG1, it just looks like it. I seem to recall something about a DSotSC for BGT being made, but I havent heard anything since. BG2 mods may or may not work, I think someone made a list of which ones work on the BGT forum, so try searching it.
