Rodin has always captivated me. I heard an original "Thinker" statue was destroyed or damaged in the WTC collapse. "The fall of the Cathridyd(sp)" is another Rodin favorite of mine.

I really love art. A nice thing about living in Boston is the plethora of Mueseums. I highly recommend the Gardner Mueseum for any art lovers who visit here, It is a unique expirience.

NO I draw the style known as Manga... You know... like This...

I don't JUST draw manga tho, I have a broad feild of Manga, ranging from Oekaki to Bioshéndo ^_^; Some drawings are fluke accidents while others turn out to be better than i expect, I never consider myself good though, because i can always get better...

My most recent Manga series on the Net is called "Halcyon Saga" which EBIFLY won't let me show you any previews of yet, so don't tell 'em i showed you the cover (especially not in English) @_@ eyah... anyway... i'm gonna go to bed now it's been a long day ...

O_O

3 photon claw lashes to you...

you've been watching those cartoons on TV again haven't you...
Bad, i say, bad, very bad...

Tell me, does this not convey feeling? The gass blades malcolored, flying through the air, the wind gusing, the solitary figure standing alone, quietly, gazing, observantly, it analyzes the way an Otaku feels, or a rock for that matter, or a tree, how they feel, standing alone, like in that VNV nation song "Standing" that kind of feeling of perpetual "observance"

Do you not feel the rushed sense that comes to you when you've woken up too late in the morning and you have to litterally run otu the door with your breakfast? I wanted to convey that "rush" while also putting it in a very still scene, though it may only last a few seconds, it seems like an eternity in comparison to the rest of the way there...
no comment on this one

Are you telling me you've never stood in a feild an collected flowers or considered fishing more of a learning experience than just a sport? If not in reality, didn't you at least do these things in your mind?!

how close do your freindships become? this close? or perhaps maybe even this close?

have you ever wanted to just fly away?

Or Perhaps just stand atop a mountain and look out?

when did you last jump off of a cliff, the wind rushing in your hair, the drirt running through your bare toes and gliding over the tops of your feet, having not a care in the world, knowing that injury would come, but woryring about that later, beeing frozen in a single moment of limbo, bliss, and having fear come and go?

Why ask questions that can't be answered?

when you can just smile...

raise your head up high...

let the wind hit your face...

or let your face hit the wind...

What you see with yoru eyes...

can't be generalized...

in a form that is boundless and limitless...

And that's all i have to say about that...

Check out my picture gallery.

I do like some of Dali's works, in particular his Metamorphosis of Narcissus and Persistence of Memory. The Metamorphosis is just bewitching -- and speaks volumes to a Narcissist like myself.

Anyone heard of the contemporary artist Gilbert Williams?

/)eathkiller - that pic of the girl adjusting her shoe? Was that inspired by Classical Sculpture by any chance? To me it is evocative of the representations of Aphrodite (Venus) adjusting her sandal - there were a few images of this, here is the best one I can find...

Madman-Rogovich, what happened to that pencil sketch in your former sig showing a man swinging a club or something? I thought it was quite good.

I am into living art. Things like tattos and flesh sculpting. My favorite tattoo artists are Paul Booth,Anil Gupta and Chris Chisholm. All 3 do completely amazeing stuff. It will blow you away to see how they use color, shadeing and the shape of the person they are working on to make the tattoos realy stand out.

For living sculpture , no one is better than Steve Hawthorne of Arizona and Lucas Spira of France. They use teflon and silicon implants to create shapes and desighns under the skin. They also burn desighns into the skin via branding. Some of it is realy great, like a carp I saw on a guy that was branded into his leg. It looked almost like he was born with it. Then there is the transtermal work. THings that come up out of the skin from underneath it. THat stuff can get pretty intense. Things like spikes, dice, computer chips, lights, candles, mirrors and all sorts of other things can be attached to the body. It is realy cutting edge stuff. For more info on it , check out www.bmezine.com or www.modcon.org
