Cloaking my party in shadows I wandered around the Gael Serran passing unsuspecting moat piranhas, worgurs, and Brimloch Brigands without their so much as noting me. Then I encounter Erzebette who greets me with her "Well, hello again my friends". So much for covert ninja operations. In order to see if that were just something the game designers had done to deter people from sneaking up on young women alone in their hovels I tried sneaking up on Scanthril but he also saw my party. Thinking that he - being an assassin himself - might have developed a technique to see cloaked characters I went on to find another friendly NPC. I had just travelled through half of the distance to see Jathil when Erathsmedor attacked me from out of the blue. Since that near-sighted old dragon could also see me I concluded that friendly NPCs must have thermal vision.

The NPCs have it all my friend. You can kill them but as far as I know the game itself cannot. I´ve tried teleporting Kerielle to the bottom of the sea and sure she has the breath of air spell. It also seems that she has got "windmill armor +100" since she has loads of hit-points when it comes to get hit by that mill. And she certainly is able to do some screaming since her damage shows up over looong distances. Ah yes, the demigod wonders of the Serran.

I don't know, Kerielle *always* dies of an overdose of windmill in my games...

It's fun to find effects that triggers some event.
Example Blood Beard, ( that evil pirate ) doesn't notice you
if you don't approach him from the shore...

I vanished myself trought forest and wandered among pirats and they didn't
noticed me at all!

Well I used my well known imagination and 'moved' pirats ( just pushing them )
in one big stack and hit 'em with meteor storm....
It was nice to see how quickly they waked up

And in the early game, when you meet thieves near graveyard, just outside Valeia, ( they give you H'tarks lockpics... spelling ) you can leave from the
area with vanish.
As we all know, when you leave bandits, they get killed by assassin or something, but if you vanish from the area, they never get killed...
The event won't trigger...

Windmill Armour. That is a good one, Willow IX .

Vanishing from Gorthius and his band of renegades, you say, Olli. That is a good observation. I have never come across that idea before. I suppose it has no effect on the game, though, (just like when one kills the snake cult assassin in the beginning of the game, Gareth always winds up dead anyway, although his would-be slayer is killed).
