Well it runs fine for me on Win2k so I expect it will run on XP as well. You could always try compatibility mode.

Good afternoon all. Just dropping in to say hi. Have to start with the diner a little earlier today. Hockey in about 2˝h.
Runs fine on Windows XP for me. Make sure you get the latest patches, otherwise Norton Win Doctor (if you have it) for Win XP will see the baldur.ini registry entries as broken, and will delete it. That was my big snafu at the beginning. Otherwise, runs fine on XP - rarely crashes, too.

Well, i don't have Win XP yet, but when they deliver my new computer it comes with XP, so i might just as well run it.

I just heard that some older games won't run on XP, and SoA is kind of an oldie, so i was afraid i couldn't play it anymore. At least not with XP.

When people say old games don't run they mean OLD games not SoA. SoA is not old, it's ony about 2.5 years old. DOS games that ran on W98 don't run a lot of the time - but that's cool since you can get VDMSound which emulates old sound cards and runs most old games.
Thats not always true Vaskez. 2.5 years in terms of OPs is old.I had to reformatt my HD after installing mouse software that was only 1 year old, crashed the whole system! It is always good to check the compatibility first. XP will automatically run any OP compatibale with the software, once you tell it to of course.

LOL, Lord K, Cloudy will have to appoint you official chucer-outer of grouchy Aussies. I still like SoA better, but BG is great. I can't wait to get my new CD-ROM installed.
