A collectable card game that you can play as a game within the game at one of the inns, or maybe a casino instead.

A fellow Arcomage player, I see... I wonder if you can still get the license codes to it, now that 3do is gone? I used to start a game just to play Arcomage

I loved Arcomage and used to load the game just to be able to play it. I did at one time have a separate copy that you could get from them which didn't require that you load the M&M game but there were some minor problems with it as I recall.
Will have to go googling and see if ArcoMage is out there somewhere!

I do have the Arcomage executable from the download, but it was a timed trial... and there's no way (now) to get the activation codes, methinks...

If you want it, let me know and I'll send it to you.

There are several sites online where you can "purchase" Arcomage - found a few yesterday doing a quick search in Google - so still possible!

I have it and registered it but for the life of me I don't recall where my copy of it is much less the code to activate it! lol!!

If you ever found yourself tiring of adventuring just pop into an inn for a few quick games. W&W is so much fun to because it is really M&M turned upside down .
