Anybody else seen or bought these yet? So far there is a gargantuan Black Dragon and a Truly massive colossal Red Dragon. I love the dragons. No longer will a minature skirmish with a great dragon involve a towel ( or something) to represent it's size.
Evidently wotc is releasing a new Icon every month and next month they are coming out with a D&D Dragon chess set. Finally wotc is doing stuff I'll actually pay or. Well It's not exactly coming from wotc, but I did get Ral Partha 10-462 "Riding the Cold Wind to Valhalla" pewter dragon 7 or so years ago, and I think it was nice. Sadly I never got around to assembling/painting it, because you have to drill parts for the supports, and I'm much too lazy for that. But I still have it laying around.

That black one looks awesome! They both do. But they do not hold a candle to McFarlane's Dragons. I just SO want that Sorcerer Clan Dragon...

Way too cool. Just dusted my desk, sure enough there is a still in the box authentic Ral Partha Drangon Lance, "Huma's Silver Dragon", and in addition a "The Griffin Chariot".
Are these pieces making a come back? Somewhere, it the deepest vowels of mine desk lays a scrap with some scribbles. Atop those scribbles sets a "lord" one in which in fact does wield one great sword known only as "Dragons Bane". Sliced and diced lizard on a stick anybody? Hard to find decent sized dragon models anymore. Nobody makes them like they used to. I remember you could buy a new one from Ral Partha or Citadel, etc. at least once a year. Miss those days! |

But I think the crossbow on the front of the bucket is a little redundant! I'm actually getting ready to sell my entire collection of Warhammer stuff on eBay. A friend was over on sunday to show me how to get started.
