i can't find the bones for the 2 shades, i looked in the cave at the begining of the map and there is nothing in it..there has never been anything in it, i have talked to everyone in Umar and been to the cabin and everything, i just cant find the bones...am i missing something or do i have a game glitch?

You're way off... it's in one of the rooms at the beginning of the Shade Temple, on an altar.

When you first go into the shadow place, the bones are in the first room on the right (the big round one). They are sitting on a stone slab...
