Be careful when you cast area effective spells in town while fighting hostiles, spells like lighting, cloud kill, fireball, death fog ... etc should be used with EXTREME CAUTIONS when casting in town where there might be "innocent" bystanders......of course, the story will be different if you are playing psychotic or evil.
