I'm trying to use the Logic Block to give different messages upon
character death. There are three settings which PC's can die in my
scenario, and I sould like a death message applicable to each.
I just can't figure out how to do it. (It is possible, isn't it?)

Might be possible through GPDL....But would need to know more about how these nefarious 'settings' would come to pass in the game.

In my scenario, there are three distinct areas in which the PC's can buy it. The first area is a tournament of champions where every match is a death mactch (at least potentially). The second area is one in which the PC's are protecting a person from would-be assassins. The third area finds the PC's defending the land from invaders. I want each death message to reflect failure for the particular area. You know, to rub it in a little.

I just recently upgraded to the newest version of DC, and I don't see anything to do with GPDL. No event or flags or nothing EXCEPT a blackened out button on the event editor. So how does one even USE GPDL????

Oh yeah, Tarlanon! This:

Choose the Logic Block event. Under the First and Second Action drop-down menues, choose GPDL.
