Okay so I went to see it on Fri 8th-Over here anyway.
WOW.
They were as faithful to the book as they could be.
Myrtle was pretty well-done, lockhart was the same g*t he is in the books, Snape was just as slimy, the car was fantastic, there was humour and by the end-even though I knew what would happen-I really was clutching the edge of my seat.
I only had one grip with the animation and that-Fawkes. In flight he looked gorgeus but in the scene where he cries on Harry's wounds to heal them he looked SO...SO...stiff! It was obvious he was a puppet. (he did, having said that, look great in the air)
Aragog and his minions freaked the living daylights outta me. I totally felt Ron there , I mean, if i wanted to see spiders I woulda watched 8-legged freaks
Dobby was brilliant, just as weird and abstract in the film as the books. Lucius Malfoy was a slimy g*t I just felt like punching, Author Weasley was the same-obssessed with muggles. The howler was HILARIOUS, and the basilisk was....I'm not going to ruin it. Go see it. It beats the 1st film hands down.

*drools with anticipation* Thanx for the review Kat!

Doesn't come out State-side till Fri, and I might not even be able to see it!

(note: I still image Doby with Cespanar's voice ..... "Oooooh, Shineys!")

I hear that the three young stars will only be in one more movie after this. For the fourth one, we will have a whole new cast. I say: BOO!!!

I heard only Harry will change, as he is getting too tall. Ron, actor wise, is awesome! I hope the original cast stay, but I'd like to see Harry changed before others!

I think that the talk of the cast changing is being built upon the fact that the contracts run out after film 3 and that the press need something to talk about. I know that it looks like time might be running out with the 5th book not even out yet but in the 6th and 7th books the pupils will be 16-18 and it is not like we haven't had actors in their twenties or even thirties in some cases playing older teenagers. I'm not sure about the idea, I mean do you want to see someone else playing Frodo or Aragorn in The Return of the King? The new director hasn't even been picked yet, as far as I know, and I am sure they will have a lot of input but surely the only way to go is to stick with the actors in place.
Oh and I totally agree the film is great.
