Gratz on horse! I'm happy to say I haven't done HH once this year. I got the ring and flying broom last year, flying broom was fun a lil bit. These days, awaiting xpac, and with server having raid instances down a lot, I'm staying late at work and getting RL stuff accomplished. Plus, I haven't liked the seasonal stuff, like, ever. More useless shit in my lootbags and wasted time, IMO. Personal POV.

It is. Well, at least it is about the ones that actually give you rewards, for me anyways. I am not a big fan of achivements that do nothing, City of Heroes did that with badges and all it did was encourage people to repeat stuff.

Congrats on the horsey, what luck. It's perma, right?

Wow that horse is sexy.

I just cannot wait for my first mount with my pally. 3 more levels... oh dear... 3 more. Thesis first so that will be delayed for... uhmm.. a day or two.

They don't do "nothing"

But they don't do a lot....

Blizzard have said that there will be novelty stuff that you can get based on achievement points later, and the seasonal stuff has a reward eventually (A Red netherdrake I think it was) though how anyone could be arsed getting that is beyond me....

They can't make the rewards too good, since Achievements is meant to be a fun thing, and not another grind. We're not supposed to take it too seriously.

Cheers.
