In everybody's personally opinion which is the best Specialized Mage?

Any besides a Diviner. I really don't see how a Diviner can be useful to a party..

Conjurer, as divination's your opposition school. That means you have to pay for identification (or use stockpiled scrolls if in the middle of a long dungeon crawl), but there's plenty of money available and you don't miss out on any other spells.
I always thought there should be a school specific bonus for choosing a certain school (Invokers have better fireballs, Conjurers summon more creatures etc.). Are there any school specific benefits that I'm not aware of? |

I like illusionists, but my favorite is (I do not know what the mage is called in English) the one specialized on changing physical reality or something like that. Half-elves and humans can choose this - if someone knows the English name please tell me, in German its called Wandler

I'd have to say Illusionist because Gnomes can be them and have 19 intelligence, 20 using the tome. Though if my memory serves correctly there isn't much benefit for a magehaving 19+ intelligence anyway.
