As concerning the reality shows, If you think this stupid "My big fat obnoxious fiance" thing is bad, I heard on a tv talk show that one is coming out called "Can you be a Porn Star". Am I kidding, not a bit! I think this whole "reality" (if that's what you call it) thing is getting old, and just plain ridiculous.

100% agree, and I am a Communist. It disturbs me that I know a lot of people on the left who actually think Stalin was justified in quite a lot of the stuff he did. The Stalinist left is still alive and well, but its outnumbered by the Trots fortunately.

What really annoys me is when people find out I'm a Commie and come out immediately with something along the lines of "But doesn't that mean you support Stalin?". Stalin, to my mind, was not a Communist, whatever he may have said. He was a Nationalist and an Authoritarian, neither of which fit into Socialist theory very well, or in fact at all.

Unfortunately I've been doing a lot of that kind of thinking for the past three and a half years.
