Eh? I thought ranks and post counts didn't really matter anyway and people should stop obsessing about them? Hmmm, well I'll just put it down to Choc's superior intelligence - obviously his plans are too sophisticated for my crude brain to see through

Anyway I'd say that's definitely Holland, and it sure looks like Amsterdam to me, though there is a chance that it's another city with canals, perhaps Delft.

Ah yes, either Amsterdam or Delft. I could probably think of other cities with Canals as well, but for some reason, I think other cities are too obscure to be a part of this game.
EDIT: Looking at Ziroc's request to pick only one answer, and since Amsterdam has been mentioned about 6 or 7 times already, I'll guess Delft. Even though I'm 90% sure it's Amsterdam.

I believe that Mouse is right and that it's Amsterdam, so if I am going to be "more right" then I will have to provide more details. I am willing to bet that if you cross the bridge going right you will be facing the Rijksmuseum. Spent hours looking at a similar brdge while waiting for a bus .

Edit additional - actually from memory, the one just in front of the Rijksmuseum is wider than this, but if your walking to the left through the Spiegelstraat towards the centre of town and the umm "interesting window shopping area" I believe you cross this bridge.

Well I know I am wrong but it looks remarkably similar to a road in the Christchurch city centre in NZ. Just looking at it reminds me of the river flowing under a street near the Central City library I used to visit.
