Due to my crap computer i've never been able to install TOTSC of over baldurs gate add ons but now am getting a new computer and going to complete every add on package there is for baldurs gate then am getting baldurs gate 2 ( if I import my character does he keep all his items ) then am going to do throne of Bhaal NOTHING CAN STOP ME

Yes there is a way to keep your equipment when you import but it isn't really worth it. Keeping your equipment from BG1 upsets the game balance early on in BG2. Besides, you find equipment of highly superior quality relatively early on in BG2 anyway.
