Sorry for the delay, I had to reinstall WinXP 3 times because of a dang bug I kept getting (Figured out what it was after the THIRD damn install) lol!

I'm also going to add a second Hard Drive-- it's a 2.5Gig (Very small) as a slave drive (second drive--D:\ ) and I'm making a static 1.5 gig pagefile (same as swapfile). I don't know if we would even NEED it since we now have 524MB Ram! (This current crappy server has only 128)--lol, MY home PC has more ram! geez!

I got a SWEET server rack case, has 4 fans in it, and an Athlon 1800XP with 512MB Ram. (DDR Ram too). Getting it finished tomorrow I hope. If not Tomorrow, for SURE, no later than Monday)

Oh this is a sweet machine, I'll snap a Pic of it when I get it all finished (Inside shots too!)

excellent man, excellent
no you can run a server in any operating system.
i've run a webserver in ME and XP
its just that a lot of servers are run on linux,
but then alot of them are run on win2k aswell.
and XP is just 2000 with a facelift.

Ah... so, what does it require to be a webserver ?? A pipeline to the net couldnt be enough to get files online, so I assumed it must have something to do with the OS...
