Mage Stronghold (Spoiler)

Alright, so I told my apprentices to make the staff of power, and the lot of em' died. Is that the end of the stronghold?

More or less. The Staff of Power is not really that great. There exists a better staff in the game. I usually ask them to make the Ring of Wizardry. More useful in my opinion.

You get 50,000 XP if all of them survive, so if any die that`s what you miss out on

The options to take to get the 50k XP:
1st item: any but Ring of Protection
2nd Item: any but Meteor Swarm
3rd Item: Nothing.

I think the Ring of Wizardry is worth the loss of 50,000 Xp.
