For starters, i think both are great. Both spellcasters and good fighters. My cernd has an ac of -6. Whcih is pretty darn good without armour. I use his, cloak of the high forest, ring of gaxx, ring of protection +2, pale green ioun stone, staff of the woodlands (lowers BASE AC from 10 to 6!). And none of these clash so i can wear all at once. Hows that for dead man walking. Plus in ToB he gets an unbelievable amount of spells (about EXTRA 4 level seven on level 15)
Plus he gets about 8 extra greater werewolf transformations and special "druid only" spells like Greater Elemental summoning (summons and elemental PRINCE!). And his THACO isn't too bad. So if you dont want jaheira (i didn't because she levels too slow) then cernd is the way to go. The ONLY downside is druids have no restoration or ressurection spells. But i didn't mind as in ToB keldorn can ressurect(paladin braces) and haer'Dalis can restore (hindos doom). As for haer'Dalis well dual weilding katnas says it all. Celestial fury and hindos doom are a kick arse combo. He can wear melodic chain mail and he can still spellcast. He can have Ioun stones. He can use all bug metal unit weapons (SEE PANTALOONS IN TOB FORUM). If he had a bit more HP i would classfy him asa a tank. He can learn the traps in TOB. So don't say the both are bad. Its the way they are used. If you want my opinion i say anomen is bad. Now who wants maces anyway?

p.s sorry for all my refences to ToB, i know this is a SoA forum but these two chars get heaps better in ToB.
