I wasn't sure if this was ok to post here or if it should be in Current Events because it seemed like most of the topics there were things that were debated, and I don't have something to debate here, just to remember. However, mods, if you disagree, please move it

This Saturday will mark the 40th anniversary of President John Kennedy's assassination. I was not yet born at the time, so I can't share in any memories of that day. I have been to the museum in Dallas and the grassy knoll. I plan to be there in 10 years to mark the 50th anniversary.

I thought I'd include these to share other's memories of that day, and so our members can add to them if they wish. Reading many of the peoples' feelings on that day, I noticed that they were the exact same feelings I myself felt on 9/11.

I too wasn`t born yet at that time. It is kinda sad that most Kennedys ended up losing their lives...

Well R.I.P J.F.K!

I'm not telling you you're not entitled to your opinion, you very much are, but please don't derail this thread into an anti-Bush or any other politian. There are plenty of threads to do that in in the Current Events forum.

I want this thread to be for people to discuss Kennedy and remember him and his legacy.

Thanks

Although before my time, from what i've heard he was a great president. Any country that looses it's leader is a terrible thing to have happen especially when they are assinated. Not only did his death affect America but the entire world, shame to loose such a great man in such bad circumstances.
