Will you see the movie in december 2001???

What do you expect from it? Will it be as popular than StarWars I? and I hope better than D&D the movie ...

I did not see the D&D movie. But I am wondering if it is worth renting or if you consider it to be a pathetic attempt at entertainment?

D&D movie was absolutely horrible. I expect the Lord of the Rings movie to much more entertaining. They have spent an incredible amount of time in production and have a wonderful cast. I wish Jeremy Irons would have signed on for this instead of wasting his talents on that rotten D&D film.

It is not worth renting also .. wait a couple of month and watch it on TV, if you are lucky, they will cut the movie and a lot of commercials will make it more fun !! hahaha!!

I will wait in front of the theatre all night long for the first day! Like I did with StarWars I

There are high hopes for the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Personally, I reckon it's going to do for Fantasy what Star Wars did for Sci-Fi. As for Jeremy Irons, who exactly would he play? I'm just damn irritated Liam Neeson didn't get wrapped up in Episode 1. He was born to play Aragorn, IMO.

C'mon, December... if only Time Stop could work backwards...

This coming from an ex diehard Star Wars fan. I Watched the movie (Star Wars I) several times when it came out, but now that I think about it, it really sucked. The only thing it had going for it were fantastic special effects. I really hope that Lord of the Rings is better. I would say it SHOULD be because of the great cast, but SWI had a god cast too, so .. I guess we can only pray.
