In BG 1 I think there was a lack of a good mage. So in BG2 I decided to be a mage. I'm only in Chapter two and Minsc is the only real fighter I have got. Can any body direct me to one who is not of evil alignment.
I want to get Nalia and do her quest but it would mean having to drop Aerie. D'ya think I should? It's just that I have too many non-fighters so it's one or the other. ------------------ Neil |

Aerie is more powerful than Nalia, but Nalia's helpful in her quest. You can always drop Aerie, do the quest and then recollect her.
SPOILER + + + + + + + + Nalia will get kidnapped if you keep her in your party, so she isn't a long term option. Keldorn in the Sewers is one of the better fighters in the game, has a good sword and decent armour. ------------------ 'Cloudbringer for Spamturny General' - BK -Powered by Tainly Corp Your ad here? Valygar is a pretty good fighter too. He can dual wield katanas - Celestial Fury and Daystar are a lethal combination!

Based on body counts from my previous runs the best killing machines are....
#1 Korgan -Evil Near Tie #2Keldorn-Good #2 Mazzy-Good #3 Minsc-Good All of the above are good. Mazzy is probably the most underrated. After this group the best in melee is probably the "git" Anomen followed by Jaheria. |

have you realized ?? The evil fighter is a fighter class, and the good fighters are paladins or rangers. I think they should have added a good aligned fighter...

Give Mazzy the Gesen Bow and she is AWSOME.
But Keldorn is probably the best choice due to his dispell magic abilitie. |

Get Korgan and dual wield him with Stonefire and Frostreaver, or substitute either with Crom Faeyr....then get ready to hear: "Me axe be bloody already!!"
But for good aligned parties, I would recommend Valygar, Minsc and/or Keldorn. But they all need to be equiped properly in order to be most effective. ------------------ Long live H22A1!!!!! |
