Well, seems like my great gnomish cleric/thief has a little dissadvantage, after all... That is, he cannot be equiped with a weapon capable for backstabing... daggers or swords, due to his cleric ethos. Is there any way of handling some kind of weapon which will allow him to perform this great feat.? I have reached x4 backstab level, and I can do nothing in order to take advantage of it. Thanks a priori.

try a Scimitar I'm prety sure a clerics can use a Scimitar.
next time make a Fighter/Thief so he can use the weapons

Well, TheCrimsonBlade, as a matter of fact, the character cannot hold a scemitar as well... I just got back in the game and checked again... thnx anyway.

Well, try a short sword again. And, are you sure that your hiding in shadows, and that the hide hasn't failed?

clubs and quarterstaves are the weapons you'll have to use

You cant backstab someone with a club, quarter staff or other blunt weapons. But the game thinks you can, so just go with it.
