There was a Thread, a while ago that had the same subject... seem to lost it...

you should problay check those one out, contains allot of nice feedback on spells ect. if you do not know wich to choose..

is it Solo Sorc. or party Sorc.? because Solo and party you need a different spell picking..

Hmm, that's the weirdest thing I've experienced in a long time. An IW BG2-boardie who asks if anyone has a spell list for a Sorcerer, well knowing that Dundee Slaytern is a mod on the same board. Weird. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Okay, here's what I think you should pick for your spells, Xen

Level 1:
Burning Hands
Chill Touch
Color Spray
Shocking Grasp
Armor

Level 2:
Ghoul Touch
Strength
Mirror Image
Blur
Ray of Enfeeblement

Level 3:
Ghost Armor
Protection from Normal Missiles
Vampiric Touch
Slow

Level 4:
Fireshield-Blue
Polymorph Self
Stoneskin
Spirit Armor

Level 5:
Cone of Cold
Phantom Blade
Sunfire
Protection from Normal Weapons

Level 6:
Mislead
Protection from Magical Weapons
Tenser's Transformation

Level 7:
Mantle
Prismatic Spray
Spell Sequencer

Level 8:
Maze
Improved Mantle

This assumes that you will hit the level cap in SoA. If you have ToB or an uncapper, then you'll have to pick the extra spells yourself.

The idea behind these picks is that most enemies will assume that since you are a sorcerer, you will be at a disadvantage in melee. They will foolishly rush in and engage you at close range; not realizing that you were waiting for them to do exactly that! The fools will be unprepared for the barrage of touch spells that you unlease upon them, and horrified to find that your spell protections make it nearly impossible for them to strike at you. Their last thoughts will be filled with chagrin as they realize that an intelligent sorceror would obviously turn their misconceptions about spellcasters to their advantage.
