Yep you heard me the first time...I´m a cheater...or would like to tweak some characters...but since I´ve just started playing NWN I´ve got NO idea of how to do that!
I´ve played a lot of BG and I´m wondering if there is a debug mode so I can tweak the stats in the creation of a charater?

Any other ways of tweaking?

use the toolset
if used with a cheater mindset you can make very powerful items that would essentialy make you invulnerable, but...why even play the game then?

download a mod called the vault if you want to design characters from scratch to be used in high level mods. it has a dialogue level up scheme with merchants to equip yourself with; if u want to cheat and make overpowered items this would be a good spot to place them so that your char can get them.

You can also go to gamspot.com, look up NWN, and it will give you a complete walk-through along with debug mode cheats. I ran across it looking for hints to some of the quests.

I agree with using the toolset. It is easier than using the cheat console, and the characters are not tagged as non-usuable in Multi.

Weeeeee I guessed right

Appearently there is a cheat that can be used by changing a code in the .ini file...and thats cool and all!
But the cheat console doesn´t open when hitting ~ so i don´t really know what the trouble is...since I got the cheatcodes written down and they´re ready and all...but no dice without the freaking console

The following list of commands that can be used by the Dungeon Master. To use each command simply hit the ‘~’ key, and type in the command.

You will notice that hitting the ‘~’ key only brings up a cursor in the upper left-hand corner of your screen to continue typing.

Players who wish to use these Dungeon Master commands, hit the ‘~’ key and then type in the following:

DebugMode 1

And then you will have full access to the commands. To shut this ability off, hit the ‘~’ key and then type in:

DebugMode 0

Important Note: Players do not have access to this command if playing on a server that does not allow it.
