Welp, just finised playing through Beerfishes mod: "in the footsteps of dante"
and i gota say, even with its linearity, its by far one superb mod! a hell of a lot better than the compaign that comes with the game, but still has plenty of work that needs to be done on it to make it as good as say baldurs gate or planescape torment. |

If you go to nwvault and click on the module they should say whether they are suitable for solo play, or at what levels solo players could resonably attempt them. It also lists whether you need a DM or not, as well as the amount of hack n slash, roleplaying and traps.

Gabrielle,
What areas did you think Beerfish' mod needed work on?

well, for one it was too linear as mentioned in the post
there wasnt a whole lot of variation between what each character class could accomplish so the replay value wasnt class based almost all of the areas were very very small there also isnt a lot of roleplaying available for the neutral or evil; only good (he mentioned it was designed for good, but still its an improvement that could be made) plenty of other misc things if i were going to replay it that i would notice again but i forget for now. |
