Hurricane Frances is still far off, and is a Catagory 4 ALREADY. And this sucker is VERY well held together, which probably means it will become a Cat 5, which is what Hurricane ANDREW was. I hope not guys, because I saw Homestead Florida before and after. Think of Lush trees and nice homes, then a desert with NOTHING but foundations, no trees.. My Half Brother lives there (Rebuilt)...

Anyway, if it hits Central FL and is a Cat 5, and goes over Lakeland, we are HISTORY. I just wanna let you know. Our house will be at the least, damaged.

We have Homeowners and other coverages, but damn... KEEPING an eye on this monster.

CNN says:

Links yet again:

This REALLY Sucks, because South of here, towns were leveled by the last one (Charley). So Damn, whats up? Choc, start memorizing spells... 9th level ones!

Yesterday things were looking scary for us here, but with today's forecast, they are starting to looking better. The bad thing with hurricanes is that if you luck out, that's just because it's decided to nail someone else.

Scary stuff!

Maybe it'll swing north to Maryland & we can get out of school again, like with Isabel...

... bad, I know, what with all the property damage &tc., but that really was a good time kayaking up Main St. of downtown Annapolis

Damned Hurricanes.

Stay safe Z. Make sure Choc takes this catnip and gets those protection from the elements spells memorized.

What sucks is anywhere inland in Florida will not be enough. Since the state isnt wide.. H. Andrew went through south florida across it, and left a line from the east coast to the west coast in total distruction.

I for one hope it dies out or drops to ATLEAST a cat 2 or 3. 4 or 5 is TOTAL distruction.
