Even in his heyday, Mike was never a multi round fighter. Mike never had any finesse. He always needed to knock them out quickly. The good news is that it was not a problem for the 21 year old Mike. The bad news is that he hasn't been 21 for the better part of a generation.

Mike is going to have to accept that his money making days in boxing are over, and wake up to the sad fact that he wasted a fortune that he will never be able reclaim.

Somehow, I get the idea that Tyson and reality only have a nodding acquaintance.

When your profession is dependent on your stamina and/or your looks, aging is your #1 enemy. Poor mike, should have retired with dignity rather than this.

Well, in Mike's defense, I'll have to say that retiring earlier in order to hold on to his dignity would have been a lost cause.

Mike will keep fighting, the debt will drive him to do it, no mattter how embarrassing it gets. Either that or his agents will try to take his career in a new direction. Public speaking, perhaps?

How 'bout the Mike Tyson Grill? Nah, it's been done... Mike Tyson action figure maybe? Jail cell and Hollyfields ear sold seperately... I'd say a career change to doctor would be out of the question...

You might be right Timber, public speaking could be his last resort; now if only he can figure out a way to do it without opening his mouth

Sthomehow, I doubt it.

I can't believe, after all the money he made, that he is $38Million in debt! How the crap does that happen? Anyway, he was only paid $3M for this fight(I love use the word 'only' in association with the word million-It feels so naughty), so I think he'll be lucky to pull in $1M for the next one.

He needs to associate himself with some kind of product. Since 'lean mean grillin' machines' are taken, maybe he could hook up with some kind of denture product?

38 million in debt!?? Incredible! I can't even imagine how I could completely SPEND half that! Seriously...that's a LOT of money to owe people.

I agree, he's not going to make that much in his profession at this point in time. Maybe he'll start advertising Mike Tyson Crunchies, the breakfast of Champions-.... shaped like little ears..... hehe

Cloudy's evil twin rears her ugly head and proposes quite the intriguing kids' cereal.
