I'm just on IW, and all of the sudden, it logs out from me. It does this if i'm not on for 2 days too! Did Ziroc change somethin?

Might be your connection- I haven't had any problems lately. Haven't heard anyone else report that problem either. Maybe you can try logging on from another computer and see if you get booted.

Local cookie glitch. Nothing server-side, I would think, or everyone would get it.

I might just possibly have the reverse of this problem. I have arrived at the forum quite a few times and foumd myself (still) logged in when I thought I had logged out at the end of the previous visit.

I don't know if this is significant, but knowledge is made of "bits" of information; especially for Webmasters!!!

However, it could just be my encroaching senility. I seem to forget a lot of things these days. Or nights? What did I just say?

As lennon said, this dosent look much like a server side problem. A cookie glitch from server side woudnt appear between software upgrades like this.

Although how a cookie glitch on the client side can begin affecting multiple people including the webmaster at the same time is puzzling.

Another theory is that something on the web, new spyware perhaps, is glitching cookies on a wider scale. I run adaware regularly, but it isnt updated as often as a true AV product would be, so a new spyware could get around a fair bit before it was detected.
