Oh well, I suppose not knowing is best for you now you've eaten some Regin.

quote: LOL, in English it's 'Pizzaria'. I'd pay 60 kroner not to throw up, but then women my age generally don't go round in circles on a sled. Attalus is reading this over my shoulder and says to tell you that a ride on a thing called the Whirlybird at the amusement park in his youth (Dark Ages) caused an ugly incident involving a chocolate milkshake.

quote: It is?... I always thought it was Pizzeria, that's how I've always seen it spelt.. maybe it's just another American-English difference. EDIT for typos [ 02-25-2002: Message edited by: Talthyr Malkaviel ]

quote: Well, you should! It's only the after-effects that's not so fun And tell Attalus, that I know alot about throwing up at amusement parks.. A trip to Gröna Lund (the amusement park in Stockholm) is justnot the same without eating lots of candy-cotton, nachos and cola and then parting with it in the Paris wheel Although I don't drink chocolate mlikshake..

quote: LOL, Wow, if they call it a Piizeria in England, that's another reason to be glad to be in the USA. It has been my 'honour' to help you 'realise' that. "Kilometre" "armour" Sorry, Talthy, I've always loved to study the differences between the two dialects. I've told some of you the story of one of my fellow internes (we'd say "Interns") who was a Brit with a lovely Oxbridge accent. One evening we were sitting around the telly (TV) in the house staff lounge, and she asked if we had any "chocolate biscuits." We all started catcalling her, because to us, a 'biscuit' is a bready thing like a scone but not sweet at all, and that sounded terrible to us. She protested, "You know, chocolate biscuits, like Oreos." I always loved her, because she convinced an Anglophile frind that the thing on his car really was an antenna, not a "radio mast."

, I'll pass it on when he gets home from work. Thinking I might go for a run but don't know if I can be arsed

Hi everyone! Its going to be a long evening for me I am afraid. I have another essay to write for tomorrow and I am rapidly losing the plot with a debate on another board... too many posters... too little time... anyway, just dropping to say hi.
