Good to hear that!
Which download manager did you use then, if I may ask?

I use also Download Accelarator, but instead of 200-300k I got only 5-10k and one thread only. I was really pissed
Many connection resets and so on. I havent installed yet and hope that I will not need to download it again.

So Download Accelerator is not a good option? Hmm, perhaps you want to report that at the official forums as well, ask them to remove that download manager from their list of options. Else more people will be having this problem in the future.

The low transmission and resets were caused by problems with server and network (load etc). I could get over 900k downloading paralelly a few files (7 threads for each).

But oh.. shit. I used Download Accelerator before to download some large files from SUN (each about 350MB) and it never could glue them correctly together. Oh, no, please, no, I dont want to download it again.

I can say: Download accelerator is not a good option for large files loaded with many threads - from my previous experiences.

Personally, I stick to NetVampire, just a standar download manager (and not necessarily better than the others), but it has never let me down in the last year. Has a handy drop box that will appear in the right corner of your screen, just pull the file you want to have to that box and the download starts.
(okay, perhaps more download managers have something similar, but I'm not comparing them, only giving a review of the one I use myself. )
