So any of you guys in SWP?

We're currently stuck on M'uru, had a few weeks wiping here. He kinda sucks lol.

Just curious if anyone here is in Sunwell.

Why'd you delete? I got $700 for two alts on the account I sold. One was basic KA geared the other was a fresh "green" 70. I can't imagine what my main account would sell for if my alts fetched me that.

P.S. I love how a "where u at in sunwell?" thread turned into "selling & sold accounts" lol

Crazy am I? Eyup that's me. Several fellow guildmates who emailed me asking my whereabouts was shocked to know that I've deleted the guild's most equipped rogue.

Thing is, if I don't deleted it I may be tempted to come back into the game. I also smashed the wow cds into many pieces as a double assurance.

Note that this would take a merry forever, but you CAN do it.

Lavin, I think you might be quite alone on this one. SWP is going to be Naxx 2.0, right up to the "released 6 months before the expansion" bit, only without the speculation of wether the bosses will be downed before the xpac releases.

Hmmm..... the SS as linked is kinda hard to see, apologies!!! But I promise that "Ingafel" on top of the DPS list is me and I did 1337.8 dps.

Gz on killing Illidan!

Cheers for the comment about the gear.

It's just a shame my bracers suck, they piss me off so much. But you only have so much DKP, and i've actually played it very well.

We've had loads of conq bracers, and they've all gone very high prices. But only like 2 people need them now, so I'll basically get them for nothing.

But I paid a shitload for T6 boots, and conq seem to be very rare. So we will see

I also pay high for the rare BT epics, Illidans helm and Illidari's cloak for example. They are rare to begin with, and seeing as how we never go BT you gotta pay high if you want them

How long did your Illidan fight take?

Just asking as its a first kill, and 1.3k dps on him is kinda low for top dps. But if you're only just getting there, that makes sense.

I think I can hit around 1.8k dps on Illidan on average (just checked - 1.718k to 1.791k On Illidan last two kills).

It's a bitch tho, as Phase 2-5 are all kinda sucky for DPSing. Threat issues on the flames in P2, and threat/movment issues on P3-P5).

Fights like Brutallus I average around 2.2k (give or take with burn), and Felmyst around 2.4k.

So getting there

Anyway, keep plodding on clearing BT. Don't bother going to SWP yet mate, its a huge step up from BT. Bt is easy mode compared to it.

Takes time to farm the required gear for SWP impo.

Edit - And with regards to guild progression -

We are horde first on everything. We're currently on M'uru, and the 2nd best horde guild has downed Kalecegos. No-other guild even killed Brutallus yet.

If I'm honest, we are server 2nd. Our only competition are two alliance guilds, both on M'uru. And one of the alliance guilds has beaten us to server first on the first four bosses in SWP so far. We're hoping to take server first on M'uru and KJ though
