I have a 60 on a PvP server that I've never done any raiding with. I've got another on the same server that is getting close (52), and yet another 50+ as well as several 40 and under characters on various PvE servers.
I have no interest in raiding and to tell you the truth, the rest of the game has gotten really boring for me over the last month or so. My sub ran out today, I haven't activated it yet and I doubt I will for awhile. I'm really thinking it might be a good time to quit until the expansion comes out, or just quit all-together. WoW is a great game, but after almost 2 years it's really starting to get old. Same quests and content recycled with a different coat of paint over and over and over and over and over again, blah. Such is the way of the MMO I guess. Getting a character to 60 is nice, but there really isn't much to do unless you are into raiding or battlegrounds, so in my mind I keep asking myself why I even bother. What's the point of getting my warrior or mage to 60 when they will probably just sit like my priest has? Blech, the game just doesn't sound very appealing anymore. Anyone else have this problem? glyc |

The beginning of the game was awesome, but somewhere on the way they had a change of philosophy and went from creating one of the best, most original mmorpg to just milking their members with similar content and time sinks. It's sad really, early wow was so good. I was a big fan of the game once. [ 09-26-2006, 01:40 PM: Message edited by: Luvian ]

That's why I don't play one game to exhaustion anymore. It makes me hate that game and I stay away from it for months. I mix up my gametime so I don't get too tired of any one thing.

Well, I find any game boring when I beat it. I couldn't even stomach completing SOA/TOB all the way through the second time, and that was one of my all-time faves.
So, if you aren't raiding, then you have effectively "beaten" the game of WoW. You can re-do the same dungeons for the odd piece of gear you need, but of course you're frustrated. If I had finished all the raid instances, I'd feel the same way. And quitting until October when the xpac drops is not exactly a long "hiatus." Take a break. Come back when you can level to 70 and socket your armor. |

Lol. Socketed armor is the least of it.
The advent of the RAWRBOMB will be most glorious
