Favourite NPC?

1. Boo "Squeek, Squeek"
2. Minsc "I am dying and Boo is still too young to avenge me!"
3. Viconia - she's a hotty, and I like that dark stuff
4. Korgan "My termper's bad enough without ye botherin' me!"
5. Jan - funny little fellow and I like dwarf/gnome tossing although it is illegal in most states.

I know there will be tons of Minsc and Jan type responses, (I like them too) but I think an overlooked performer is Valyghar with Boots of Speed dual-wielding CF and his family blade. What an awesome killer!

AND THE ABOLUTELY LAST PERSON I WOULD EVER HAVE IN MY PARTY IS..........'Nalia'. Worthless thief, poor mage, always whining.

Ok i am relatively new to BG2 (lvl 14 stalker: Underdark) and have only really played with Mynsc, Nalia, Yoshimo, Imoen, Jaheira, Aerie and i keep hearing about all these gr8 chars i have missed out on. I want to hear your fav NPC's top 5 perhaps and the ones u all h8 No need for spoilers just list yo favs

Jan and Korgan, easy. Then Jaheira and Viconia, and the ever-neurotic Edwin.

God I hate Anomen. Can't say I like Nalia a lot either.
My favorite characters are prolly Jaheira, Minsc(with VB), Jan, Viconia, Edwin, Keldorn(with HA)

Hey!!! anomen's OK. He's just about the only person in the game who has decent hp as well as some healing abilities.

I've had battles where it was only him and me - and the fact that I HARDLY EVER give him potions (all for me. LOL) because he can heal himself. - so I save gold!!!

OK, he's an annoying B******, but when someone like aerie has only 40 hp and keeps dying in battles..................you'll be calling her a B******

Yeah, and I hate her too. Anyway, I based my decisions on characterisation, and Anomen's personality just comes dead last, right next to Nalia's. : P

I agree wholeheartedly with Magnus. Valygar with the Celestial Fury and boots of speed ROCKS!!! Add in the cloak of non-detection and he's darned near invisible whenever he wants to be. Backstabbing with the Celestial Fury is a sight to behold!
