Favorite free online game?

Whats your favorite free online game you played or in other words one which doesn't require buying/paying anything.

Now as I only played three online games (and no this is not just a cheap way of getting playing suggestions) I say EmpireQuest is still my favorite.

For free online games I quite like the ones on Gamespy they have quite a nice selection of free online games. Many a night I have stayed up till 5 in the morning playing chess, saying "just one more game and i am off to bed", but once you start it is hard to stop.

It is a a close tie between Diablo II, Baldur's Gate II, RotS.org(based off of LotR series), and well I can't really remember the last one I play so I'm gonna leave it at this.

I have only played DII on battle net... and onling games hasn;t really given me anything to be happy of more than on Single player...

I prefer Neopets

I'm trying a new game "Space" It's slower than EQ (1 hour ticks)but has some realy nice features. A better map system, ability to customize your ships, research new techs and tech levels.

too bad phantasy star online isnt free anymore heh...

i guess now its RAGNAROCK, you don't even PAY to get it much less to play it. IT also is exactly like Final Fantasy Tactics only you can be in games with nearly 100 people [img]smile.gif[/img] Fights are sized down of course...

I still play PSO version 2 however, ive got every rare weapon and all of my stats are maxed

what reason is there to still play? I got 50 levels to go before its over! Despite the fact that leveling up takes... like... umm... a week... heh! 700 million EXP to go! WOOH!
