Mad

Well, the end of the season is finally rolling around. Tomorrow they play the conference championship games, with the winners going to the Super Bowl (and the week in between of nothingness so that they can hype the thing). I really like both matchups tomorrow. The game between the Eagles and Falcons is going to be pretty good, but the one that I think is going to be nasty is the game between the Patriots and the Steelers. Are you following the games this year? Who are you going for in those games? And who do you want to see win the Super Bowl? I just thought I would open up the discussion, as I haven't seen any threads on the subject.

I love both the Eagles and Falcons, so I don't know which to pick. I idolize Michael Vick (because I play like him) so I guess I am with the Falcons hehehe

As for the other game, am so sick of the Pats. I am going for the Steelers. Unlike the Colts, the Steelers have a better all-around game, both games will be a great thing to watch

EAGLES! And boy will it be nasty tomorrow. Cold temperatures with up to 40 mph winds.

Yep, in the teens (Fahrenheit) at both stadiums, and flurries in the morning at Philly. Bad for the Falcons, as they are a dome team. I'm sick of hearing about the Patriots, and I like both Pennsylvania teams (favorite team is the Eagles, though). So I'm rooting for an all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl, with Philly winning out.

Been rooting for the Eagles and Dolphins since I was a kid. Dolphins didn't get anywhere this year, but the Eagles are still going strong, even without TO. I'd like to see the Eagles against the Steelers.

Hey, Nerull, how did you become an Eagles fan all the way down in San Antonia, Texas? I personally was born and raised in southeastern PA. By the way, I lived for 5 years in Texas south of Houston. Loved the people, got sick of the perpetual heat and humidity.

There are two things that scare me about tomorrows game: 1) The winds and the Eagles dominate offensive game plan is to pass and, 2) The Falcons are primarily a running team (Vick, Dunn, and Duckett) and tomorrows field conditions may very well favor them.

Actually it will favor neither of them the field will be too slippery for any solid grounding so Vick might just slip and fumble again. And, the primary reason on why the Eagles are mostly passing is because McNabb doesn't have to run So if the situation calls for it, he will. In my opinion this game is more exciting because we have two very unpredictable teams.
