Senderismo? Really? Never heard that word... I usually just say excurción, o escalar los Andes.
Ok I'd like a helado con chicas por favor

well, ice cream would be helado wouldnt it? but yep, shake would adjust better to batido. thing is in arg we use sundae, so i really wouldnt know how to translate it now that i think about it.

and hiking is senderismo as far as i know. escalar is climbing or rock climbing. hiking is taking predetermined paths usually well marked through rugged terrain (usually mountains or forests). since its done via senderos, in spain its called senderismo.

I really don't think there's a word for sundae... Odd, huh? I'm pretty sure we say "sundae" with a little accent just to make it original. We're odd people. Right you are, I forgot about senderos. But I've still never heard it called senderismo... Ptooey me.

Whoo! You're from Argentina? I'm from Chile, originally from Spain, and I live in Venezuela. Pretty cool. As a rule I'm supposed to dislike you, probably because everyone assumes the accent is argentinian, but I'll forgive the slight as long as you hand over the mountains. Or such.

Hah! No way! We're steadily giving away our own bad ones... Just yesterday there was a two hour long book something from an extremist Chilean Pro-Chavez Pro-Communist, and then of course there's Pinochet.

Will you be in Madrid next year? I'm moving back there in July or August... Might meet you, which would be pretty cool.
