Hi Saz!
I listen to NPR every day, to and from work. I've been hooked on it for a while and recently became a contributing listener, supporting VPR (Vermont Public Radio).

2 of my favorite weekend shows are Car Talk followed by Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me. They are both extremely funny.

khazadman I am not sure what meant but not being middle of the road and then taking about tax dollars. They do not seem to be connected
when it comes to political matters, npr and pbs are not middle of the road.and tax dollars have everything to do with it.how do you think they get the money for all that neat equipment they use?neither npr nor pbs could hope to compete with real radio and tv stations.

Kaz I stil ldo not know what the fact that that soem of my tax dollars go to NPR has to do with the fact that they tend to present shows across the spectrum of politics. Unless your point is that since they are taxpayer suported they try to present views that are not filled with bias as oppossed to Rush or some left wings groups.
In which case is it not a good idea that they are taxpayer supported
