I finished it, but never had that much of a hard time with the end boss. The fat man a couple of levels before him was much harder!

Not as good as the original. Controls seem sloppier somehow. Anyway, the original and best is available from the Home of the Underdogs.

Yeah I played this, but never could complete the very last level. Annoying! What's even more annoying is that on the better Prince 2, I got to the last level and couldn't complete that either! Has anyone completed Prince of Persia 2? That annoys me more! I can only get to the level with the chess board which I think is the last level but don't know what to do with all these similacrums of yourself.

Don't jump over them, tiptoe by holding the shift key.

Those simulacra, touch them in flame form. Hit left/right alternately till you change. You need 11 life points to change, you can kill people for potions below the chessboard if you need some more. No, I dont know how you are supposed to figure this out, it might be hinted at in the manaul.

Prince 1 - yeah, that level held me up a few hours. Mostly exploring after killing the mirror image.

Ah thanks! I figured the turning left and right thing must do something because when I did it I lost a life every time I turned! I didn't know you had to have 11 life points or anything. So how did you figure it out? Look on the web?
