I've got this song in my head and it's driving me insane, I need to find out what it is.

How do I go about explaining this...it's a dance (soft house) track which has the following lyrics: "...wherevery you go I'll follow you..." as part of the refrain, kind of in a sampled loop. The track itself sounds a LOT like Everything But The Girl or Deep Dish - I've done Google searches, the works, can't find anything.

I know it's tough, but if someone can put me out of my misery I'd appreciate it. The really irritating thing is, I think I have this track on one of my CDs, but I just *cannot* for the life of me remember...

Where's johnny when you need him?

No, I'm afraid not (though not bad tracks on that link).

It's a woman's voice singing and she sounds a HELL of a lot like the lead singer from Everything But The Girl...

Here you go:

Wrong

I wanted everything for a little while
Why shouldn't I?
I wanted to know what it was like
But I pushed you too far
I know
And you started laying down the law
Till I didn't love you any more
Now you can pull a little bit
There's a little give and take
And love will stretch a little bit
But finally it's gonna break

Wherever you go I will follow you,
Cause I was wrong
(Repeat)

So there we both were in that little house
Just hanging out
You didn't know what you were about
You turned to me as you were
Threading daisies on a chain
And you said, "It's decision time again"
Now you can pull a little bit
There's a little give and take
And love will stretch a little bit
But finally it's gonna break

Wherever you go I will follow you
Cause I was wrong.
(Repeat)

And the ground's gonna swallow you
I was wrong
I was wrong
I was wrong
I was wrong

I wanted everything for a little while.
Why shouldn't I?
I wanted to know what he was like.
Now you can pull a little bit,
There's a little give and take.
And love will stretch a little bit,
But finally it's gonna break.

Wherever you go I will follow you,
Cause I was wrong

It is Everything But the Girl. "Wherever you go I will follow you, cuz I was wrong...." I remember it from a few years back...kinda sad song that. Look here: http://www.lyricsdepot.com/everythin...irl/wrong.html

I worked out why it was so @#$% hard to find this song - what I was looking for (and what was on my CD) is actually a NEW song by EBTG called "Tracey In My Room" which fuses EBTG's "Wrong" with Soul Vision's "Come Into My Room." Really nice.

But all sorted now.
