Some of my friends at school, 10 yrs. ago called me blah.
I was mocking a teacher that was running his mouth at me, and so I interupted him and siad...blah, blah, blah! (meaning that I cared not for his foolish gibbering.
That won me an honor with my friends, and they called me blah.

The only other nickname I have had (within the past 7 years) is Larry-love

An odd Nickname is Chaos
well actually it's not that odd because I'm called Chao Kang
Anotther one is Rikard but i created that one myself so it don't count

So...
Chris

This has a very weird history
I went on Camp with firstgraders (in amerika that would be seventh graders i think; aged 12) and there was this girl that couldn't remember my name
Her Name was Madelon so to get back on her I started calling her Medallion but since that didn;t really work (she actually liked it )
I started calling her Sjonnie (Johnny) and Chris. (don;t ask why it just came to mind)
So she turned it around and started calling me Chris

oh how things can backfire

The only nickname I ever really got was in Middle School.

My classmates called me "Webster" as they compared me to a walking dictionary.

Sometimes I still confuse my students by using big words. Like just the other day I was describing a poem as rather poignant. I hope I'm not so verbose here.

When I was small I used to be fat, so people called me 'Blob'. I don't know why, I guess it just sounds funny. So glad I lost that name as well as my blubber. Thank you puberty

I actually appreciate those that share new words and phrases with me.
Whether it be English or Spanish, I find it delightful to learn a new way to say something.

I like that story Rikard!

And Father Bronze, I had a friend who didn't actually use it as a nickname, but called me her 'walking, talking thesaurus' because any time she needed an alernative word for her papers, she knew I'd have it. Being a teacher, you must also appreciate diversity of vocabulary. I know I do!
