Help!(Puzzle of the pipes)

Maybe I'm just stupid but I can't figure out how to put the pieces(hand, staff, blood, ring) into the pipes. I have them in my inventory but there is no way to place them. This is getting frustrating... I keep getting zapped.

You have to click on the pipes in the correct order with the correct item in your inventory.
The old man with the carrion crawler should give you clues as to the order.
I think they go hand, ring, blood, staff. I'm not sure if that's right.

You have to place them in the pipes in a certain order, I cant remember exactly but I think it was 3,1,2,4.

IF you stand close and read the pipe text it tells you which order to "use" the pipes in
Although a bit vague and hard to understand...

As you look at the 4 pipes
think of them as 1 -2-3-4 left to right
Use 3--places the hand in it
Use 1--places the ring in it
Use 2--places the staff in it
Use 4-places the blood in it

3-1-2-4
Then you complete the quest [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well, you're probably getting zapped all the time, because you have to place them in the
CORReCT OrdEr !!!
There should be a man with a pet giant-wurm in the sewers too. Just drop all the Items
(hand, etc.), get all the hints that the pipes give you (the riddles) and then ask the man about them. He'll tell you in which order they must be placed.

i think (not sure) that the order is:
(numbered the pipes from left to right, 1,2,3,4)
2,1,3,4
or
2,3,1,4
one of those
