Davros can explain it to you. can't you Davros
Canada was one of the stars of the world cup. The world is organised into the test playing nations (top 10) and the World Conference. Canada is in the World Conference, and they qualified for the World Cup through a series of playoffs. For the first time ever they managed to score a win, AND it was over a test playing nation. England is historically seen as the home of the game, and incidentally, one win over a test playing nation is precisely the same record that Lanesra's boys finished with as well . So in some respects you did as well as that world powerhouse of cricket, England, in this tournament .

You had one real star player by the name of Davison - though I should point out that he is an Aussie migrant .

As for explaining the rules - well I better try and find a web site that does it - I will be here all day otherwise .

I had no idea that we were even a contender in the sport. Unfortunately our media never plays any cricket games or even talks about the results. Up here its all about hockey, football (american not soccer)lacrosse or curling. It's a shame really, because the sport looks like alot of fun and you don't have to buy 1000 dollars worth of equipment to play it.

It doesn't suprise me that the star player is an Aussie migrant, we have alot of people here that are from Australia, in fact my cousin married an Aussie. She's a real sweetheart from Melbourne.

Thank you for taking the time to find a site for me, it is very much appriciated.

Canada's team of eleven was made up of nine different nationalities.

Wow, nine different nationalities, well, actually one nationality, but that statement makes me very proud. *puffs chest out*
