I had no idea that we were even a contender in the sport. Unfortunately our media never plays any cricket games or even talks about the results. Up here its all about hockey, football (american not soccer)lacrosse or curling. It's a shame really, because the sport looks like alot of fun and you don't have to buy 1000 dollars worth of equipment to play it.

It doesn't suprise me that the star player is an Aussie migrant, we have alot of people here that are from Australia, in fact my cousin married an Aussie. She's a real sweetheart from Melbourne.
