Just a wierd thing, for no particular reason I had a look back through the Bg2 archives just awhile ago and looked at quite a few old threads. Now I dont mean any offense here but the board has changed a hell of a lot from what I can tell. It seems back when the forums were younger almost everybody had something against someone else. Half the posts I read were about someone swearing or hassling someone else. Was this normal back then, Im just curious but it seems the forums have got a hell of a lot friendlier since then.

Az? I had a much different experience and I was part of the old 'blue board' from late January or so to March when we moved here.. but maybe you mean earlier? What threads are you talking about?

I made some of my closest and longest lasting friends or IW on that old board! Heck, I razzed the Genieboy before he was a mod! LOL

Most of what is now GD, was in the old BG2 forum, fyi.

That was before my time, that was the Time of Antiquity I believe. Ask one of the Ancients (Larry, Rikard, Ertai) about it, it has changed a lot since then. From a tiny hamlet it has grown to a bustling, thriving metropolis.

You just had to put the word hamlet in there didnt you?

The biggest diffrence between that board and now is well..
When we said things like the quote above (somehow i get the weird impression this is mine)
We didn't take it personally
I heard worse thing than that said to me and i know he never meant it
I never had any trouble with Adhreal (which is Ertai now) despite these things
It's more Like you and Celeb treat eachother on msn
The board was smaller then and was more like a room with good friends drinking together while now it's more like a big Disco/Bar where there are a lot of strangers too
It has it's advantages and it's disadvantages
Nothing to be changed of that
